Introduction

The CAN PN software is a design-in tool for Infineon SBC and transceiver users. Based on generic input data, it creates a sample code that can be used from users as a starting point for their application specific software development. It shows the configuration for the SBC or transceiver to enable the specific functionality CAN PN.

Starting CAN PN Wizard

  1. Go to "My tools"
  2. Hover over the CAN PN Wizard to show the Start Button
  3. Click "Start" to launch the tool 

How to use CAN PN Wizard

  1. There is a drop-down field 'Type' to select one of the Device.
  2. Once the device is selected, please enter further intput parameters for that device. Please refer to Partial Networking Guide at bottom-left of the tool for information on these input parameters.
  3. Click on 'Update'
  4. Sample Code is generated based upon input data entered by the user

Export control classification

The Software contained in this package may be subject to export control:

ALNR: N

ECCN: N

SI-class: N

Software classified with “ALNR not equal to N“ are subject to European or German export authorization when being exported out of the EU.

Software classified with “ECCN not equal to N“ are subject to US re-export authorization.

Software classified with “SICLASS not equal to N" are subject to Singaporean Strategic Goods Control authorization when being exported out of Singapore.

Even without a label, or with label "ALNR:N" or "ECCN:N" authorization may be required due to the final whereabouts and purpose for which the goods are to be used.

Furthermore, the specified export control classifications are not binding, as export control regulations are subject to interpretations, changes and possible differences in national requirements.
